POLICY
Policy was founded in 1988, by Boris Krasny, as Israel’s first political and public affairs consulting firm and is considered the nation’s leader in economic, political and government relations and strategic consulting. Over the years Policy has widened its scope of activities to offer an integrated range of services. Through working with multinational corporations, national firms and organizations, Policy has successfully managed sensitive regulatory issues, counseled clients during negotiations or crisis situations, facilitated consumer and import legislation, dealt with standardization and dumping cases as well as health and tax matters, managed media relations, corporate communication and positioning strategy, assisted with local and international tender participation and more. Policy is one of the few Israeli firms that has accumulated extensive knowledge and experience in cross-border and cross-cultural issue management and negotiations. We combine business and political knowledge with relationships with decision makers, opinion leaders and media. Teleseker - Policy The first of its kind in Israel, Teleseker-Policy Qualitative Research Inc. is headquartered in the heart of Tel Aviv. Using unique, state-of-the-art technology, such as the perception analyzer, it conducts focus group and depth interviews concerning a wide range of issues. Teleseker-Policy constitutes a partnership between Teleseker, which specializes in quantitative research and Policy Ltd., specializing in strategic consulting. By joining forces, the founders, M. Shadmon and B. Krasny wanted to combine Policy’s wide international client base with Teleseker’s proprietary and/or licensed technology, such as the TGI (single source database). The venture has become a fast growing success, offering two very well equipped focus rooms with a one-sided mirror, to major companies and organizations in a very wide variety of fields. Clients include telecommunications companies, media operators, major advertising agencies, manufacturers of home appliances, the food industry, the finance and insurance sector, credit card distributors as well as political parties and organizations. The Guide to the Knesset and Government Policy publishes a Guide to the Knesset and Government in Hebrew and in English. Built as an open file for periodic updating, like the Capitol Directory, it features detailed information, including parliamentary, public and personal profiles of Knesset members and cabinet ministers, as well essential contact information such as the addresses, e-mail addresses, telephone and fax numbers of their offices, as well as their personal assistants. Online Knesset Update A weekly internet journal in English, reporting on the latest events and news from the Knesset (Israeli Parliament), and providing status updates on legislation and analysis of the current Israeli agenda and the political – business environment. By subscribing to www.knessetupdate.com, the user has privileged access to the parliamentary work in progress in the Plenum and the House Committees, as well as to a short summary of the subjects discussed during the sessions. Policy International Ltd. To capitalize on Policy’s experience and reputation, Policy is expanding its activities in government relation & corporate affairs to other countries as well. Policy is operating in Belgrade – Yugoslavia, Ankara – Turkey, Beijing- China, and intends to start operations at a later stage in Warsaw – Poland, Prague – Czech Republic, and Budapest – Hungary. Having reached a level of activities in Israel that will soon begin to encounter conflict of interest limitations, Policy is fully aware that its growth potential lies abroad, and more so in Asia and the CEE-MED region.
